These Terms of Use apply to your use of skyvela.com and to bookings made through skyvela.com.

 

skyvela.com is operated by SKYVELA.COM LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16362899, with its registered office at 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX.

 

skyvela.com is registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for data protection purposes.

 

By using our website or making a booking, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. Our role

 

skyvela.com is an online travel agency.

 

We act as an agent for third-party travel suppliers.

 

We help customers search, compare and book separate travel services, but we do not provide the actual travel services ourselves.

 

The travel services available through skyvela.com may include:

 

  • flights;
  • hotels and accommodation;
  • tours and activities;
  • car rental;
  • airport transfers.
  •  

Your contract for the actual travel service is with the relevant supplier, not with skyvela.com, unless clearly stated otherwise.

 

3. Third-party suppliers

 

All travel services shown on skyvela.com are provided by third-party suppliers.

 

These may include airlines, hotels, accommodation providers, tour operators, activity providers, car rental companies, airport transfer providers, ticketing suppliers and travel technology providers.

 

skyvela.com does not own, operate or control these suppliers.

 

The supplier is responsible for providing the travel service you book.

 

4. Separate travel services only

 

skyvela.com does not currently sell package holidays.

 

All services are offered and booked as separate travel services.

 

If you book more than one service through skyvela.com, each service remains a separate booking with a separate supplier, unless clearly stated otherwise.

 

For example, if you book a flight and a hotel through skyvela.com, the flight and hotel are separate bookings. They may have different booking references, different supplier terms, different payment rules, different cancellation rules and different refund policies.

 

skyvela.com does not act as a package holiday organiser under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.

 

5. Supplier terms and conditions

 

Each booking is subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier providing the service.

 

Supplier terms may include rules about cancellation, refunds, amendments, check-in, baggage allowance, seating, hotel check-in and check-out, deposits, local taxes, resort fees, security deposits, car rental excess, fuel policy, mileage limits, driver age requirements, driving licence requirements, no-shows, late arrival, early departure and special requests.

 

By making a booking, you agree to both skyvela.com’s terms and the relevant supplier’s terms.

 

You are responsible for reading the supplier terms before confirming your booking.

 

6. Prices and availability

 

Prices and availability are provided by third-party suppliers and may change before your booking is confirmed.

 

A booking is not confirmed until you receive a booking confirmation from skyvela.com or the relevant supplier.

 

We reserve the right to cancel or reject a booking if there is an obvious pricing error, availability error, technical error, supplier system error, incorrect information displayed by a supplier or suspected fraud or misuse.

 

If this happens, we will contact you and, where appropriate, arrange a refund of any amount paid.

 

7. Payments

 

Payment may be collected by skyvela.com, by the supplier or by a third-party payment provider, depending on the booking.

You agree to pay the full amount shown before confirming your booking, including any travel service price, taxes, supplier fees, booking fees, service fees, payment fees, administration fees and optional extras.

 

Some charges may be payable directly to the supplier at the destination, such as city tax, resort fees, hotel deposits, security deposits, fuel charges, car rental deposits, local government fees, cleaning fees or optional extras.

 

skyvela.com is not responsible for local charges imposed by suppliers or authorities where these are disclosed by the supplier or are required locally.

 

8. Flights and ATOL protection

 

skyvela.com does not currently hold its own ATOL.

 

Where a flight booking is ATOL-protected, the ATOL protection is provided by the relevant third-party ATOL holder or flight supplier, not by skyvela.com directly.

 

If your flight booking is ATOL-protected, the relevant ATOL holder will be identified in your booking documents or ATOL Certificate, where applicable.

 

Please check your booking confirmation and any ATOL Certificate carefully, as these documents show which company is responsible for your financial protection.

 

skyvela.com does not sell flight-inclusive package holidays as organiser or principal.

 

9. Cancellations

 

Cancellation rights depend on the supplier’s rules for the service you booked.

Some bookings may allow free cancellation before a certain deadline. Other bookings may be partially refundable or fully non-refundable.

Please include your booking reference, lead passenger or guest name, service you want to cancel, reason for cancellation and supporting documents, if relevant.

 

Your cancellation is not confirmed until skyvela.com or the supplier confirms it in writing.

 

Cancellation charges are usually calculated from the date and time the supplier receives the cancellation request.

 

10. Refunds

 

Refunds depend on the supplier’s terms and conditions.

 

If the supplier confirms that a refund is due, skyvela.com will assist with processing the refund after receiving confirmation or funds from the supplier.

 

Some bookings may be non-refundable. This can include certain flight fares, hotel rates, tours, activities, transfers, car rental bookings, promotional rates, special offers, service fees and administration fees.

 

skyvela.com is not responsible for delays caused by suppliers, airlines, banks, card providers, payment processors or other third parties, but we will assist you where reasonably possible.

 

11. skyvela.com service fees

 

skyvela.com may charge booking, service, amendment, cancellation or administration fees.

 

These fees are separate from supplier charges.

 

Unless stated otherwise, skyvela.com service fees are non-refundable once the booking service has been provided.

If a supplier refund is due, any non-refundable skyvela.com service fee may be deducted from the refund amount where permitted by law and clearly disclosed.

 

12. Changes and amendments

 

If you want to change a booking, skyvela.com will request the change from the relevant supplier.

Changes are not guaranteed and may be subject to supplier approval, availability, fare differences, price differences, amendment fees, administration fees and new supplier terms.

 

A change is not confirmed until skyvela.com or the supplier confirms it in writing.

 

13. Travel documents and requirements

 

You are responsible for ensuring that you and all passengers have the correct travel documents and meet all travel requirements.

This may include a valid passport, visa, residence permit, health documents, vaccination records, driving licence, international driving permit, payment card required for car rental, entry and transit documents and travel insurance.

skyvela.com is not responsible if you are refused boarding, refused entry, refused car rental, refused hotel check-in or unable to travel because your documents are invalid, incomplete or do not meet supplier or government requirements.

 

14. Special requests

 

Special requests may include room preferences, bed type, seating preferences, accessibility assistance, dietary requests, child seats, airport transfer requests, late check-in or early check-in.

 

skyvela.com will pass special requests to the supplier where possible, but special requests are not guaranteed unless confirmed by the supplier in writing.

 

15. Website use

 

You agree not to misuse our website.

 

You must not use the website for unlawful purposes, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with website security, copy or scrape website content without permission, make false or fraudulent bookings, use another person’s details without permission, upload harmful code or use the website in a way that may damage skyvela.com or third parties.

 

We may suspend or restrict access if we suspect misuse.

 

16. Accuracy of information

 

We aim to keep website information accurate and up to date.

 

However, travel information, prices, availability, images, descriptions, facilities and supplier rules are provided by third-party suppliers and may change.

 

skyvela.com is not responsible for inaccurate information provided by suppliers, although we will try to correct errors where reasonably possible.

 

17. Our liability

 

skyvela.com is responsible for providing our booking service with reasonable care and skill.

 

Because skyvela.com acts as an agent, we are not responsible for the actual performance of travel services provided by third-party suppliers.

 

This includes, but is not limited to, airline delays or cancellations, hotel issues, tour cancellations, car rental disputes, airport transfer delays, supplier overbooking, supplier insolvency, baggage issues, weather disruption, strikes, border restrictions, government actions, local taxes or refusal of boarding or entry.

 

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

 

18. Travel insurance

 

We strongly recommend that you purchase suitable travel insurance as soon as you book.

Travel insurance may protect you against cancellation, medical expenses, travel disruption, baggage loss, supplier issues or other unexpected events.

 

It is your responsibility to ensure your insurance is suitable for your destination, travel services and personal circumstances.

 

19. Complaints

 

If you experience a problem during your trip, you should report it immediately to the supplier providing the service.

You should also contact skyvela.com so we can try to assist you.

20. Privacy and cookies

 

Your use of our website is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

 

These explain how we collect, use and protect your personal data and how we use cookies.

 

skyvela.com is registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office for data protection purposes.

21. Changes to these Terms

 

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time.

 

The latest version will always be available on our website.

 

The terms that apply to your booking are the terms in force at the time your booking is confirmed, unless a change is required by law.

 

22. Governing law

 

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

 

Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless consumer protection laws give you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
